In 2012 Gujarat Assembly elections, Manjibhai has defeated Congress party's Zalavadiya Jaysukhbhai Devchandbhai by 49,439 votes.
The BJP managed to get 55.52 per cent vote share of the total 64.64 voters turnout for the 2012 assembly elections.
