Gujarat elections: Congress candidate from Junagadh constituency- Bhikhabhai Joshi
Bhikhabhai Joshi from Indian National Congress Party has filed nomination papers from Junagadh Constituency in the upcoming Gujarat assembly elections 2017.
Junagadh is one of the 182 assembly constituencies of Gujarat. It is located in Junagadh district. The constituency will have 260 polling stations. In 2012 assembly polls, the number of electors for this seat was 235828.
Mahendra Mashru had independently contested and won from this seat in 1990 and 1995. He later joined BJP and contested on the party ticket on this seat.
Mashru ruled this constituency for another four consecutive terms since 1998.
According to myneta.info, Joshi is a 10th pass. He has stated his profession as farming.
Joshi's assets are worth of 1 crore and he has no criminal cases reported against him.
