Gujarat elections: Congress candidate from Dharampur constituency- Ishwarbhai D. Patel
Ishwarbhai Patel is the current MLA representing Dharampur Assembly Constituency.
The Congress party's candidate from the Dharampur Assembly Constituency for the Gujarat Assembly elections 2017 is Ishwarbhai D. Patel. Dharampur Assembly Constituency is reserved for Schedule Tribe candidates. Dharampur is a small town and municipality situated in Valsad district. Historically, it was a capital of the former princely State of Dharampur.

Ishwarbhai Patel is the current MLA representing Dharampur Assembly Constituency. In 2012 Gujarat Assembly elections, Ishwarbhai Patel defeated BJP's Chaudhari Sumitraben Batukbhai by 15,298 votes. The Congress has been winning from this seat since 2002.
