Gujarat elections: BJP candidate from Pardi constituency- Kanubhai Desai
In 2012 Gujarat Assembly elections, Bharatbhai Patel defeated Congress party’s Patel Dharmesh by 35,999 votes.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from Pardi Assembly Constituency for the Gujarat Assembly elections 2017 is Kanubhai Desai. Kanubhai Desai is the current MLA representing Pardi Assembly Constituency. In 2012 Gujarat Assembly elections, Kanubhai Desai defeated Congress party's Hemant Manubhai Desai 37, 311 votes.
Kanubhai was born on February 3, 1952, in Umarsadi. Kanubhai is a graduate and holds a degree in B.Com. He also holds an LLB degree.
Kanubhai was elected to the state assembly for the first time in 2012. Prior to becoming an MLA, he has held various important positions at the tehsil level.
According to myneta.info, Kanubhai's net assets are worth around Rs two crores and he has no criminal cases against him.
