Gujarat elections: BJP candidate from Nizar constituency- Kantibhai Reshmabhai Gamit
In 2012 Gujarat Assembly elections, Gamit defeated Congress party’s Pareshbhai Govindbhai Vasava by 9924 votes.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from Nizar Assembly Constituency for the Gujarat Assembly elections 2017 is Kantibhai Reshmabhai Gamit. Nizar assembly seat is reserved for member of scheduled tribes. Gamit is the current MLA representing Nizar Assembly Constituency. In 2012 Gujarat Assembly elections, Gamit defeated Congress party's Pareshbhai Govindbhai Vasava by 9924 votes.

Kantibhai was born on June 1, 1952, in Songadh taluka of Tapi district. He has studied till class 10th. Kantibhai was elected to the state assembly for the first time in 2003.
Kantibhai has stated his profession as agriculture. According to myneta.info, his assets are worth around Rs 10 lakh and he has no criminal cases against him.
