Congress candidate from Doon Assembly seat in Himachal: Ram Kumar
Congress has fielded Ram Kumar from Doon Assembly constituency for the Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections 2017. Ram Kumar is the current MLA representing Doon Assembly constituency in Himachal Pradesh. In 2012 assembly elections, Ram Kumar had defeated independent candidate Darshan Singh by 3,830 votes.

Ram Kumar is a post-graduate with MA from HP University, Shimla. According to myneta.info, his assets are over Rs 36 crore and his profession is business.
Ram Kumar has two cases against him. Both the cases have been filed under IPC section 341 and IPC Section-143.
He is a resident of Haripur Sandholi Tehsil in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh. He is 43-years-old.
