By doing this act, did America’s liberals really prove themselves to be liberals?

There is nothing new in the news that US President Donald Trump is a controversial figure and has polarised the American society like perhaps no other leader. But what when his critics turn a tad intolerant towards him and show their own controversial face?

Well that happened in February this year when the 'liberals' of San Diego, California, did the shocking thing of hurling shoes at screen while Trump was delivering his first State of the Union address to express their disapproval of the leader.

The incident happened when dozens San Diegans were brought together at 'Noche de Chanclazos' or an "evening of slipper-throwing" to watch Trump speak and encouraged to throw the slippers and shoes at his image whenever they felt the president was insulting them or their community, the organisers had said on social media.

Well, for many it was a light-hearted protest against Trump but to see the liberals indulging in such protest is certainly not a good example for those aspiring to take up the baton from the these generations of liberals.
