BJP candidate from Shillai Assembly seat in Himachal: Baldev Singh Tomar
Baldev Singh Tomar is contesting Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections 2017 from Shillai Assembly constituency on a BJP ticket. Tomar is the current MLA from this seat. In 2012 Himachal Assembly elections, Tomar defeated Congress party's Harshwardhan Chauhan by 1918 votes.

Shillai Assembly Constituency is located in Sirmaur district of Himachal Pradesh.
Tomar will get stiff competition from Chauhan who had been winning from seat from 1993 to 2007, till the BJP candidate defeated him in 2012.
Baldev Singh Tomar is 46-years-old and a resident of Shillai Tehsil in Sirmour District.
According to myneta.info, Tomar is a graduate and holds BA from government PG college in Nahan.
His assets are worth over Rs 5 crores and he has no criminal cases against him.
