BJP candidate from Banjar assembly seat in Himachal: Surendra Shourie
BJP candidate from Banjar for the Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections 2017 is Surinder Shourie.

Surinder Shourie, 36 is a Zilla Panchayat member. He hails from a small village in Himachal and did his schooling from a government school. According to his facebook account he vows for development of people and believes in the path of truth.
While Congress has fielded an "outsider" by choosing Aditya Vikram Singh, BJP has gone for a local, Surender Shourie. Though there is talk among locals that they would be voting for their own, a local, the contest is going to be a tough one as Aditya belongs to the royal family of Kullu, which holds a strong sway in the seat.
