She had contested in the 2012 Assembly Election as BJP candidate and secured the third place with 11624 votes. This is her second Assembly election.
BJP: Reeta Dhiman: Rita Devi is the daughter of Shyam Lal. She passed Matriculation in 1994 from the Himachal Pradesh State Education Board.

She runs a boutique for her livelihood. She is one of the six BJP female faces in the assembly elections.
She has no criminal cases against her. She had contested in the 2012 Assembly Election as BJP candidate and secured the third place with 11624 votes. This is her second Assembly election.
