UP: Now, IAS officers' life on bait
Lucknow, Aug 13: The reigning sand mafia clout has exposed its links with the Uttar Pradesh government yet again. This time, however, things went way beyond tolerance when the sand mafia had the audacity to attack IAS officers in broad daylight, jeopardizing their lives. Can this be tolerated? We think not.
Ironically, even the Akhilesh Government thinks so, but does nothing. Or do we think, this is a way that the government has adopted to do away with the IAS officers (if we remember top brasses in the political clout demanding removal of all IAS officers) from the state.

The UP Government, however, remains undeterred in its claims that it has been and it will punish those involved with the racket. "Action has been taken whenever and wherever incident of illegal mining had been reported and government will continue to take stern action," the Chief Minister said.
Your action and reaction are quite clear now Akhileshji. Probably what you meant by "action" here is punishing honest IAS officers (remember Durga?)
But phrases like "action will be taken", "probe is being done", "miscreants would be published" are quite commonly heart now; high time you showed some responsibility.
What happened now:
In a fresh spat of attacks on IAS officers, a contingent was attacked by the sand mafia clouts when former were on their way to nab illegal mining. They also attempted to mow down an officer, but were unsuccessful. badly bruised and hurt, the officers managed to get hold of one of them and arrested him.
They have lodged a complaint with the police and expect the government to act swiftly.
Will the Akhilesh Government care to listen?
