Is the Akhilesh government waking up?

Lucknow, Aug 29: So the Akhilesh Government can act too! apart from sitting on Durga Shakti's suspension and being tight-lipped on Narendra Bhati's claims of suspending her in public.

Well, we can't blame the Akhilesh Government anymore. Afterall, there are rumours that he might revoke Durga's suspension altogether. But sir, how come this sudden change of opinions? Is it the elections or a (late) realization? You actually suspended your own party members?

According to media reports, Akhilesh Yadav suspended three errant MLAs for anti-party activities. Among them were Sitapur MLA Mahendra Singh, who was caught with six sex workers in Goa.

The other two included Ram Lal Akela and Radhe Shyam Jayaswal who had been suspended for land grabbing.

"SP MLAs Mahendra Singh, who represents Sevta constituency in Sitapur district, Radhey Shyam Jaiswal (Sitapur) and Ram Lal Akela (Bachrawah-Raebareli) have been suspended from the party by state party president Akhilesh Yadav", said Rajendra Chowdhury, SP spokesman.
