UDF scrapes through polls in God's own country

The first communist ruled state of Independent India, Kerala had a photo finish. Though Congress-led UDF government won the race marginally, there was nothing for them to cheer about. The result left the LDF thinking, “If we would have worked a bit harder".

Oommen Chandy was crowned the new Chief Minister of the state. With a lean majority of 4 seats in the state assembly, a difference in opinion with any of their allies will see the Congress out of power.
