Mamata's state grieves over infant death
Despite of modern child care facilities available for the new born babies, West Bengal government have failed to reduce the infant deaths in the state. The state have claimed more than 100 deaths in the last six months.
In the month of Oct, 45 infant deaths have been reported at the B C Roy Hospital in Kolkata. While, 6 more deaths at the Malda district hospital on Nov 10 along with 18 crib deaths in June. Delay in treatment of children suffering from critical and communicable diseases are the main reasons for the death.
