Is Darshan Replacing Sudeep As 'Bigg Boss Kannada' Host? Truth Behind Viral News

As actor Darshan eagerly awaits bail in the Renuka Swamy murder case, speculations are rife that he will be replacing Kiccha Sudeep as the host of 'Bigg Boss Kannada'.

Kiccha Sudeep had recently announced that the ongoing season will be his last as the host. In a post on X, he wrote, "Thank you all for the great response shown towards #BBK11. The TVR (number) speaks in volumes about the love you all have shown towards the show and me.

It's been a great 10+1 years of travel together, and it's time for me to move on with what I need to do. This will be my last season as a host for BBK, and I truly believe that my decision will be respected by my colors and all those who have followed BB all these years. Let's make this season the best, and I, too, shall entertain you all to my best."

His formal announcement has led to a lot of speculations over his replacement. Before the commence of the show, there was strong rumours that Rishab Shetty and a few others were being considered by the channel.

Now, there are unconfirmed reports which claim that the Colours Kannada is going to replace Sudeep with Darshan. Well, the truth is that the channel has not made any such announcement and reports circulating on social media is fake.

On the other hand, the Bangalore High Court will decide on the actor's bail on October 28.

Darshan, along with his friend Pavithra Gowda and 15 others, has been arrested in connection with the murder of Renuka Swamy. At the time of his arrest, the star actor was busy shooting his much-hyped film, 'Devil: The Hero', directed and funded by Prakash. Apart from this movie, he will be joining hands with Tharun Sudhir for a historical film on the Indian revolutionary fighter, 'Sindhoora Lakshmana'. He has given datest to Rockline Venkatesh for 'Raja Veera Madakari Nayaka', a film based on the life of King Madakari Nayaka.

He has to complete these projects before taking up any other assignment. Moreover, if found guilty, it is highly unlikely for him to host a TV show.
