Fact Check: Did Vinay Narwal Strike Shah Rukh Khan's Iconic Pose In Last Video Before Killed By Terrorist?

A video has been doing rounds on social media sites, which claimed that it was the last video of Indian Navy officer Vinay Narwal before getting killed by terrorists on Tuesday in Pahalgam.

Narwal was among the 26 killed by terrorists. He had gone to Kashmir for his honeymoon after tying the knot on April 16.

The person in the clip is seen dancing with a woman in the viral video. In the clip, the person is doing Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's iconic pose with his arms wide open. A woman is seen embracing him from behind. It was said that the said woman in the video is his wife, Himanshi.

Several media outlets have carried the news claiming that it was the last video of Vinay Narwal. However, a couple named Yashika Sharma and Ashish Sahrawat have claimed this video belong to them and requested the public not to spread the clip.

In the video shared by journalist Sachin Gupta, the woman in the video claims: "We are alive. I don't know why the media houses are spreading our videos stating he is Vinay Narwal and I am his wife Himanshi. I don't know from where they got this video and how the press works in India. We are tense since morning and are getting a lot of calls. Our condolences to the victim's family but we are alive. It is not us. How would the people who have lost their loved ones feel about this video? Please report this, and we are shattered by these reports. We don't know what to do..." the woman said.

Neither the viral clip nor the couple's rebuttal video could be independently verified, as neither appears on their official social media profiles.
