Fact Check: Did Shah Rukh Khan Visit Ram Mandir In Ayodhya?

Several Bollywood actors attended the consecration ceremony of Ram temple in Ayodhya on Monday. Ranbir Kapoor with his wife Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal with his wife Katrina Kaif, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Jackie Shroff, Ayushmann Khurrana, and many others took part in the historic event.

However, a few celebrities including Akshay Kumar skipped the event for some reasons. Also, there has been a lot of confusion on whether or not Anushka Sharma attended the Ram Temple event on Monday.

Shah Rukh Secretly Visited Ayodhya

On the other hand, there were speculations that Shah Rukh Khan had attended the event. In the viral video, King Khan is seen coming out of the temple. His daughter Suhana is spotted in the video.

The King Khan is seen in a traditional kurta and pyjama in the clip. This clip is shared as his visit to Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. The actor and his daughter had taken part in the sacred Suprabhata Seva, a predawn ritual performed inside the sanctum sanctorum on September 5.

Following his darshan of the presiding deity, Shah Rukh Khan offered prayers at the Dwajasthambam within the temple premises. Subsequently, he and his family proceeded to the Ranganayakula Mandapam, where priests bestowed upon them the divine blessings of Veda Ashirvachanam and presented them with Teertha Prasadam.

So, this video has no links to Ayodhya.

If closely observed, his 'Jawan' co-star Nayanthara and her husband Vignesh Shivan are seen in the video.
