Fact Check: Did Pakistan troops beat US in this sporting competition

We have learnt that this video is not recent. It is from the 60th World Military Pentathlon Championship. This was an international military competition in which in Pakistan did not even take part.

A reverse search of the keyframes took us to a viral video shared in 2016. In the video it can be clearly seen that this was the "60th World Military Pentathlon Championship."Screenshot 2023-04-22 at 12.00.16 PM.png.

It was the Brazilian Military of Defence which hosted this event from November 9 to 18 in 2013 at Rio de Janeiro. Per this report only military personnel on active duty in the Armed Forces of the CISM member nations were allowed to take part in the event.

It also became clear that while the Pakistan and United States were listed as member nations for the event, their names did not make it to the list of final entries for the competition. The final results also did not mention the names of the two countries.

Hence it becomes clear that the video being shared does not show the US and Pakistan armies competing against each other. It also does not show the Pakistan troops defeating the US forces in the sporting event.
