Deepfake video: After Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Rashmika Mandhana, Sara Tendulkar, Sachin Tendulkar, and Amitabh Bachchan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's digitally altered video surfaced on the internet. According to the reports, the viral video shows Prime Minister Narendra Modi purportedly speaking on love during a public meeting.
According to the experts, miscreants used Prime Minister Narendra Modi's voice samples to record a false message with the help of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to paste it over an old video.

Later, when a fact check was performed on the video, it was discovered that the speech on love was actually delivered by Bageshwar Dham's Dhirendra Krishna Shastri.
On Watching the video closely, it was noticed that the lip movements of the Prime Minister were not in sync with the audio. The video which is being used to alter was from a rally held in October 2019.
Earlier, when Prime Minister of Italy Giorgia Meloni shared a selfie with PM Narendra Modi internet was flooded with memes using the hashtag #Melodi. The photo was clicked by Meloni during the sidelines of the COP28 meet in Dubai. She had used the tag "Good friends at COP28" which was falsely replaced by #Melodi.
Many celebrity victims namely Rashmika Mandhana, Sara Tendulkar, and Sachin Tendulkar had also lodged police complaints to seek action against the miscreants. The ministry of information and broadcast had also issued an advisory to beware people of harsh legal actions.
