Biggest Telugu Hit Movies Of 2023: Here's The List of Highest Grossing Films Of The Year

Chiranjeevi's 'Waltair Veerayya' has emerged as the highest-grossing Telugu movie of the year 2023. The movie had hit the screens in January for the Sankranthi festival and clashed with Balakrishna's 'Veera Simha Reddy'.

The mass-masala film also had Ravi Teja and Shruti Haasan in the key roles. The movie minted Rs 190 crore in its lifetime and took the top spot in the list of highest-grossing Telugu films of 2023.

Prabhas' multilingual film 'Adipurush' is in the second place by earning Rs 133.28 crore from the Telugu version in India. However, its overall business is higher than 'Waltair Veerayya'., as per Sacnik.

Balakrishna's 'Veera Simha Reddy' is in the third place by collecting Rs 97.64 crore while his 'Bhagavanth Kesari' has taken the fourth spot in the list by raking in Rs 84.78 crore.

Sai Dharam Tej and Pawan Kalyan's 'Bro' has earned 82.68 crore while Nani's multilingual film 'Dasara' has collected Rs 75.81 crore. Then comes, Rajinikanth's 'Jailer' which collected Rs 68.06 crore in its lifetime from the Telugu version.

Vaishnavi Chaitanya and Anand Devarakonda's 'Baby' is in the ninth position by earning Rs 64.12. It is followed by Sai Dharam Tej's 'Virupaksha' (Rs 63.54 crore) and Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha's 'Kushi' (Rs 43.88 crore).

However, the top spot is expected to be taken by Prabhas and Prashanth Neel's latest movie 'Salaar' which will hit the screens on December 22. This movie has been one of the most-awaited films among the Telugu films.

The theatrical rights of the movie have sold for record-breaking prices and the industry is expecting the film to mint over Rs 300 crore at the Andhra and Telugu box office alone.
