Yash's Toxic Release Postponed Over Iran-Israel War; Here Is The New Release Date

In a surprising turn of events, the release of Yash's upcoming movie Toxic has been postponed.

The movie was supposed to be released on March 19 but it will now hit the screens on June 4.

In an official statement, the production houses said that after years of "dedicated labor," they were looking forward to released the film in March. But they acknowledged that the "current uncertainty, especially in the Middle East," has disrupted their plans to ensure the film reaches the widest possible audience.

"After years of dedicated labor, we were excited to share our film with you all on the 19th of March. However, the current uncertainty, especially in the Middle East, has created a situation that impacts our goal to reach and connect with the widest possible audience," the statement noted.

"Therefore, in the interest of our partners and our audience, we have made the difficult but carefully considered decision to reschedule our release," it added.

After Israel and the US launched a coordinated attack on Iran on Saturday, the situation in the Middle East has become volatile.

It is interesting to note that the makers of Toxic had lined up a grand trailer launch in Bengaluru on March 8, inviting media representatives from across the country. Promotional campaigns were already underway, and the first single, 'Tabaahi,' was scheduled to drop on March 2. However, in light of the prevailing situation, the makers chose to suspend all promotional activities.

'Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups' is now slated for a worldwide theatrical release on June 4, 2026, in English and multiple Indian languages. "See you at the movies," the statement concluded.

Yash-starrer movie is written and directed by Geetu Mohandas. The movie has Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth and Tara Sutaria in the key roles. It will release in Kannada, English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam languages.
