Who Was Rituraj Singh? Bollywood Actor Who Died Of Cardiac Arrest

Actor Rituraj Singh passed away on Monday night after suffering cardiac arrest. He was 59. The actor's close friend Amit Bhel has confirmed the news of his death.

He said, "Yes he passed away due to cardiac arrest. He was admitted to a hospital some time back for treatment of pancreas returned home had some cardiac complications and passed away."

Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi took to Twitter to express his condolence and said, "I am so saddened to know that Ritu Raj passed away. We lived in the same building, he was a part of my first film as a producer. Lost a friend and a great actor... will miss you brother..."

Who Was Rituraj Singh?

Rituraj Singh showcased his versatility through various roles across numerous TV shows. His notable appearances include 'Banegi Apni Baat' on Zee TV in 1993, as well as 'Jyoti', 'Hitler Didi', 'Shapath', 'Warrior High', 'Aahat', 'Adaalat', and 'Diya Aur Baati Hum'. Notably, he portrayed the character of Balwant Choudhary in the Colors TV series 'Laado 2'.

With a background in theatre, Singh honed his craft in Delhi alongside Barry John's Theatre Action Group (TAG) for over a decade. He also graced the screen in the popular Hindi TV game show 'Tol Mol Ke Bol', aired on Zee TV.

Singh had also worked in a few web series including ''The Test Case', 'Hey Prabhu!', 'Criminal Justice', 'Bandish Bandits' and 'Never Kiss Your Best Friend'.
