Raju Talikote, a beloved theatre artist turned comedian, has passed away at 59. Known for his unique humour in the Kannada language, he was a cherished figure in Karnataka. Recently, he had been receiving treatment at Manipal Hospital due to age-related health issues but unfortunately did not recover. His son, Bharat Talikote, confirmed the news and stated that the final rites will be held at their farm in Chikkasindhagi village, Vijayapura district.

The actor's first wife, Prema Talikote, is the mother of three children: sons Bharathraj and Dhaval, and daughter Heena. His second wife, Prema Sindhanur, has two daughters named Shajida and Shabbu. The family shared a close bond that Raju often highlighted.
