Who Is Vaishnavi Dhanraj? Know Why CID Actor Is Seeking Help

Television actor Vaishnavi Dhanraj, renowned for her role in the detective series CID, asked for help through a social media platform on Friday. The actor wrote HELP in her Instagram story on a black background.

According to the reports, she is being physically abused by her family. A video that is doing round the internet, shows the actor narrating the incident. Vaishnavi accused her family of beating her and has filed a complaint at the Mira Road Police Station.

"I really need help right now. I am in Kashmira Police Station and I have been abused by my family and I am hit very badly. Please, I need help from everybody from the media, new channels, and everybody in the industry. Please come and help me," actor Vaishnavi Dhanraj said in the video seeking help from her colleagues and friends.

Bruises and injury marks on Vaishnavi's face and body including lip and right hand's wrist can be seen in the video.

Earlier reports said that she has been going through a toxic marriage with Nitin Sherawat.

Who is Vaishnavi Dhanraj?

Vaishnavi Dhanraj is a versatile actor who showed her talent in television serials like Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal, Beyhadh, Bepannah, and many others. She got fame from the decade-long detective series CID which has a massive fan following.

The 35-year-old actor and model started her career with a cameo role in Ekta Kapoor's Kausatii Zindagii Kay. Born and brought up in Nagpur, Vaishnavi attained her schooling at Mundle High School and graduated from Shivaji Science College, before shifting to Kalyan in 2008.
