Actor Nehal Vadoliya recently accused filmmaker Subhash Ghai of inappropriate conduct, claiming he kissed her without consent. In response, Ghai announced that his legal team is ready to take action against any defamatory claims. Although he did not mention Vadoliya by name, he emphasized accountability for those attempting to tarnish his reputation through false allegations.

Ghai further stated that individuals with genuine grievances should approach the police or legal authorities rather than using social media to spread unverified claims. He described such actions as misleading and unlawful. Vadoliya, known for her roles in adult web series like "Gandii Baat" and "Dunali," shared her experience during an interview with Galatta India.

Allegations Against Subhash Ghai

Vadoliya recounted an incident from 2021 when she was 26. She claimed that Ghai's manager took her to the filmmaker's house, suggesting he might help her career. During the visit, they were drinking wine when Ghai allegedly complimented her laugh and appearance. Later, she found herself alone in a room with him.

She described feeling shocked when Ghai's lips touched her cheek as she tried to move away. Vadoliya expressed fear and confusion about why she was brought there by her boyfriend, who was also Ghai's manager. She admitted being too traumatized to report the incident to the police at the time.

Previous Allegations

This isn't the first time Subhash Ghai has faced such accusations. During India's #MeToo movement in 2018, actor-model Kate Sharma accused him of molestation. Sharma alleged that Ghai tried to kiss and hug her forcibly at his home. At that time, Ghai denied these allegations, calling them false and baseless.

In a recent statement following Vadoliya's interview going viral on social media, Ghai shared a cryptic message about people making statements for publicity purposes. He reiterated his stance against what he termed as false allegations aimed at maligning known personalities.
