Deepika Das marriage: The Bigg Boss Kannada 7 contestant married Deepak in Goa in a secret ceremony. She has now spoken about her wedding and husband.

Days after surprising fans with her 'secret' marriage to Deepak Gowda, actress Deepika Das has broken her silence on her wedding and the reason behind keeping her marriage under wraps.

The actress tied the knot with Deepak on March 1. The news was kept a secret till she shared the pictures of her wedding on her social media pages. On Sunday afternoon, she had a wedding reception where she spoke to the media about her marriage and husband.

Why did she opt to tie secretly?
Deepika said that it was not a "secret" marriage. "We have known each other for 4-5 years. We decided to date a year ago after meeting at a corporate function. Then, we decided to tie the knot. So it was not a secret marriage but we wanted it to happen without promotions."

"Basically, I wanted to be a private event which will have the participation of the family. There was a huge planning. Every month we used to go to Goa. I am glad that the wedding happened as per our wish," she added.

Who is her husband Deepak?
According to her, he is a Bengaluru boy who is from Rajani Nagar. "He is a Gowda, Kannadiga, and 'pucca desi'.

Deepak revealed that he is into real-estate business and IT solutions. He also has startups in Dubai.

The Sunday wedding reception was attended by her friends from 'Bigg Boss' such as Vasuki Vaibhav, Priyanka, Kishan, Chandana and many others attended the wedding.

Deepika Das is a model-turned-actress who shot to fame with 'Naagini' serial. She became a household name after participating in in 'Bigg Boss Kannada 7'.
