The latest season of Criminal Justice: A Family Matter has met with positive reviews despite netizens venting out anger against Jio Hotstar for releasing just three episodes and holding back the remaining five episodes.

Dr Raj (Mohammed Zeeshan), who is married to Anju (Surveen Chawla), has parted ways with his wife. They have a daughter named Ira (Khushi Bharadwaj).

The doctor has an affair with nurse Roshni (Asha Negi). The story takes an interesting turn after her murder. He gets arrested. Then his wife approaches Madhav Mishra (Pankaj Tripathi). Then she gets arrested. Like the previous seasons, now all the odds are against Tripathi's client.

What happens after he takes up the case? Will he be able to save him? How Tripathi is countered by his legal opponents? Answers to these questions form the crux of the storyline.

Ever since the series dropped in Jio Hotstar, fans have been critical about the platform's decision to release only three shows. There were demands to release all the episodes in one shot.

However, the channel seems to be unwilling to release all episodes at one shot. Going by the recent social media post, the Jio Hotstar has decided to release one episode every week.

In that case, the next episode of Criminal Justice: A Family Matter or season 4 will be dropped on Thursday, June 5, at 12 am.
