We Chose Different Paths, Why Am I Judged? : Naga Chaitanya On Samantha Divorce
Actor Naga Chaitanya has broken his silence on the failure of his marriage with Samantha Ruth Prabhu, revealing how he was unfairly judged after their separation. The actor, who recently tied the knot with Sobhita Dhulipala, spoke about moving on and the intense scrutiny he faced following his divorce.
In a candid conversation on Raw Talks With VK, Chaitanya addressed the end of his marriage, saying, "We decided to go our own ways for our own reasons. We respect each other and are moving forward in our lives. I don't understand why more explanation is needed. We have asked for privacy, and I hope the audience and media will respect that. Unfortunately, it became a headline, a topic for gossip, and a source of entertainment."

He further expressed his frustration over the public perception, stating that despite both he and Samantha moving on gracefully, he was still treated "like a criminal" by some. "I've moved on with grace, and so has she. We are living our own lives. I have found love again, and I am happy. We continue to respect each other. This is not something that happens only to me, so why am I being treated like a criminal?" he questioned.
Chaitanya emphasized that the divorce was a well-thought-out decision made for the well-being of both parties, calling it "a very conscious decision after much thought."
Naga Chaitanya's Personal Life
Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu began dating in 2015 and got married in a Christian ceremony in Goa on October 6, 2017, followed by a Hindu wedding the next day. The couple announced their separation in October 2021 and finalized their divorce the following year. Chaitanya later married Sobhita Dhulipala on December 4, 2024, at Annapurna Studios.
