Malayalam superstar Mohanlal dazzled the stage with his dance performance for Shah Rukh Khan's 'Zinda Banda' song from the Hindi film 'Jawan' at an award ceremony in Kochi.

In a video posted on Mohanlal's fan page on X, Mohanlal is seen sporting a cheetah-printed shirt paired with a brown leather jacket and trousers. He showcased his vibrant dance moves onstage.

'Zinda Banda' was among the hit tracks from Atlee's 2023 blockbuster action film and the song was penned by Irshad Kamil.

Also, the Mollywood actor was seen performing to Rajinikanth's hit song 'Hukum' from 'Jailer'. It has to be noted that Mohanlal had done an extended cameo in the flick.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan has responded to the viral video. On his X account, he said, "Thank u @Mohanlal sir for making this song the most special for me now. Wish I had done it half as good as you. Love u sir and waiting for dinner at home as and when. You are the OG Zinda Banda!!!"

At the event, Mohanlal was seen sharing the stage with another superstar Mammootty.

After accepting the awards, Mammootty said, "I've been in the industry for over 43 years. In this period, I've had a companion who has travelled with me. The person I am talking about is Mohanlal. He is a skilled actor, he is a magician. He can perform and dance. He tries to make everything perfect."

On the professional front, Mohanlal has commenced filming for Tharun Moorthy's latest directorial project, tentatively titled 'L360', which began production on April 22.

He is set to appear in actor-director Prithviraj Sukumaran's upcoming film 'L2E: Empuraan'. Directed by Prithviraj, it is a sequel to the 2019 blockbuster 'Lucifer'. A poster for the film depicts Mohanlal with his back to the camera, holding a gun, and facing a helicopter.

The announcement of the sequel to Prithviraj Sukumaran's directorial debut, 'Lucifer', was made in August 2022.
