'Vettaiyan' Audio Launch: Date, Time, Guest List & More

The stage is getting ready for one of the biggest events of the year in the Tamil film industry as the audio launch of Rajinikanth's upcoming movie 'Vettaiyan' is set to be unveiled at a grand event.

Rajini's relative Anirudh Ravichander, who had earlier scored music for his movies such as 'Darbar' and 'Petta' and 'Jailer', will compose the music for the upcoming movie. He has already given glimpses to the album by releasing two songs - Vettaiyan Birthday Teaser Music sung by Shubha and Manasilaayo. This features late singer Malaysia Vasudevan's vocals generated via artificial intelligence.

He has expressed his confidence on striking the chords with the listeners again. He told a daily: "Of course, the scale and reach of Vettaiyan has increased multifold with the presence of Superstar. I also believe that it would be a completely different addition to his filmography. The story of Vettaiyan is strong, and today, audiences are liking such films. I hope this is the case with Vettaiyan too."

Sony India Music has acquired the audio rights of the upcoming Tamil movie for a good amount. However, the price paid by the company has not been revealed.

The makers of the movie have announced on Monday that the songs will be available for listening from Friday, September 20.
