The excitement surrounding Rajinikanth's upcoming film 'Vettaiyan' has reached fever pitch as advance bookings have kicked off with tremendous enthusiasm.
In major centres like Chennai and Bengaluru, Rajinikanth's strongholds, tickets are being snapped up rapidly, creating a frenzy among fans eager to watch the superstar's latest venture.

According to BookMyShow, the total number of tickets sold across India had exceeded 1.60 lakh by Monday evening, with over 750 shows scheduled in both Chennai and Bengaluru alone. Nationwide, 'Vettaiyan' has already sold nearly 3.5 lakh tickets, reflecting the incredible buzz around the movie. The advance bookings have so far brought in a staggering Rs 6.5 crore across various regions, including Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and beyond.
Karnataka has been a particularly strong market for the film, with Vettaiyan generating Rs 2.27 crore in revenue from advance ticket sales. Tamil Nadu closely follows with Rs 2.51 crore, showing Rajinikanth's unwavering popularity in his home state.
Directed by TJ Gnanavel and produced by Subaskaran's Lyca Productions, 'Vettaiyan' is an action-packed drama. The film boasts a star-studded cast, including Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, and Abhirami.
