Chiyaan Vikram has teamed up with SU Arun Kumar of Pannaiyarum Padminiyum Sethupathi fame for his latest movie Veera Dheera Sooran.

The movie has SJ Suryah in an important role. Suraj Venjaramoodu, Dushara Vijayan, Siddique, Prudhvi Raj, Ramesh Indhira, Pavel Navageethan, Anitha Sampath and others in the cast. The film has GV Prakash Kumar's music, Theni Eswar's cinematography and Prasanna GK's editing.

Ram Venkat Srikar: #VeeraDheeraSooran works superbly both as an intense thriller and a grounded mass action drama. Feels overlong at times but it's backed by such impactful craft on every front to keep you engrossed. What I loved the most about it is that it gives immense importance to purpose and consequence of every action that takes place in the story. Highly satisfying in many aspects. Vikram's comeback, finally. Solidifies SU Arun Kumar as one of the finest filmmakers we have today. Happy.

Siddarth Srinivas: #VeeraDheeraSooran (3.5/5) - Pretty impressive. A grounded mass action drama that has many hoot-worthy scenes, SU Arunkumar carves a space for himself and makes it very different from the other films in this genre. The raw and long drawn out approach may not work for all and feels simple, but it is surely a film that grabs your attention at regular intervals.

Vikram finally gets to play a massy role, and SJS' character arc is quite unusual. I liked how all the characters had grey shades on themselves and we really couldn't put a finger on who is good and who is bad.

@gvprakash rocks, he has once again delivered his best to the film. His music is enough to bring out the cheers from the audiences even before the event actually takes place on screen.

Fans of Vikram were missing out on moments to cheer in his films for quite long, and they will finally get it here!
