Urfi Javed Marks Ayodhya Ram Mandir Inauguration With Hawan Ceremony

Like many others, Urfi Javed is also commemorating the inauguration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Despite not visiting Ayodhya, the actress chose to observe the special day with a hawan ceremony at her home in Mumbai.

On Monday, Urfi Javed shared a video on her Instagram handle, participating in the hawan ceremony at her Mumbai residence. She was dressed in what appeared to be a sharara suit for the occasion. Urfi added "Ram Ayenge" in the background and extended congratulations to everyone on this historic day. "Congratulations to everyone celebrating! (sic)," she wrote. Check out her post here:

After the video was posted, several social media users rushed to the comments section to praise the actress. "Kind-hearted person who respects every religion, lots of love," one user wrote. "We have to support every religion as Urfi does," another comment read.

While Urfi sported a traditional look for the day, she has otherwise carved a niche for herself. Known as the 'DIY Expert,' each time she is captured by the paparazzi, her bold outfits grab everyone's attention.

Earlier, Urfi Javed discussed her sartorial choices and how it affects her professional opportunities. She shared her struggle with gaining respect in the industry, stating, "I have achieved popularity? Yes. Fame? Yes. Work? No. People don't respect me. People don't want to work with me," she told BBC World and then added, "I scream attention. I want attention so I dress like that."

Meanwhile, on the work front, Urfi Javed has appeared in several TV shows, including "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" and "Kasautii Zindagii Kay." She gained fame after participating in Bigg Boss OTT and was last seen as a mischief-maker in the 14th edition of the reality TV show Splitsvilla.
