Bill Gates, the Microsoft co-founder and global philanthropist, is making headlines after Balaji Telefilms dropped a teaser hinting at a special guest appearance in the upcoming episode of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2. The short clip features Smriti Irani, who plays the iconic character Tulsi Virani, announcing that someone extraordinary will be joining the Virani family soon.

The teaser opens with Tulsi attending a video call on her laptop, saying, "Jai Shree Krishna." Moments later, Bill Gates appears on screen, greeting her with a warm "Namaste Tulsi ji, Jai Shri Krishna."

Smriti Irani, visibly delighted, responds, "Bahut accha laga yeh jaanke ke aap seedha America se mere parivaar se judd rahe hai. Aapka hum sab besabri se intezaar kar rahe hai (It feels great to know you are connecting with us directly from America. We are eagerly waiting for you)."

Gates replies with a smile, "Thank you Tulsi ji." Interestingly, this marks Bill Gates' second television cameo, following his memorable appearance on The Big Bang Theory.

Speaking to CNBC-TV18, Smriti Irani confirmed Gates' involvement, explaining that the storyline aligns perfectly with her advocacy for women and children's welfare. "When we were planning season two, we promised that within traditional storytelling, we'd raise meaningful conversations. We've already touched on topics like body shaming, workplace harassment, and dowry. Now we're focusing on women and child health," she told News18 Showsha.

Meanwhile, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 continues to perform strongly in the TRP charts, securing the second spot with a 2.2 rating, giving tough competition to Anupamaa.
