Trisha Krishnan Shares Heartfelt Birthday Post For 'Bestest' Thalapathy Vijay Featuring Her Pet Dog

June 22 marked the 51st birthday of actor-turned-politician Thalapathy Vijay. While fans and industry colleagues took to social media to extend their wishes, many eagerly awaited the much-anticipated birthday post from his long-time co-star, Trisha Krishnan.

On Sunday evening, Trisha delighted fans by sharing a new photograph of Vijay, referring to him as the "bestest" in her birthday message.

The picture shows Vijay playing with Trisha's newly adopted dog, Izzy Krishnan, as she gazes at them affectionately. In recent years, Trisha's birthday wishes for Vijay have regularly gone viral online.

She captioned the post, "Happy Birthday bestest (sic)," accompanied by a hugging face and evil eye emoji. The comments section was soon flooded with messages of love for the beloved pair.

Thalapathy Vijay and Trisha are regarded as one of Tamil cinema's most iconic and cherished on-screen duos. They have starred together in 'Ghilli', 'Thirupaachi', 'Aathi', and 'Leo'.

Trisha also made a cameo appearance in Vijay's penultimate film, 'The Greatest of All Time', where the pair danced to the upbeat number 'Matta'.

On the professional front, Vijay is currently preparing for the release of his upcoming film 'Jana Nayagan', which is expected to be his final project before he transitions into full-time politics. A first-look teaser was unveiled on his birthday.

In 'Jana Nayagan', directed by H. Vinoth, Vijay will be seen in a police officer's role. The film is slated for a theatrical release on 9 January 2026, just ahead of Pongal.
