As is typical each year, some movies fail to leave a lasting impression. Here’s a look at ten Bollywood films that didn’t quite hit the mark with viewers this year.

Another film that struggled was Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. This action-packed movie featured stars like Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff. The plot revolves around two elite soldiers on a daring mission against a masked villain threatening India. Despite its star-studded cast, it earned Rs 102.16 crore at the box office.

Films Inspired by Real Events

Yodha drew inspiration from historical airplane hijackings in India, including the 1999 Indian Airlines Flight 814 incident. Starring Sidharth Malhotra, Raashii Khanna, and Disha Patani, the film garnered Rs 35.56 crore but failed to make a significant impact.

Kartik Aaryan starred in Chandu Champion, a biographical sports drama about India's first Paralympic gold medallist, Murlikant Petkar. Directed by Kabir Khan, this film collected Rs 88.14 crore at the box office.

Comedic and Dramatic Twists

The comedy-drama Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video follows Vicky and Vidya as they attempt to record a private video before their wedding night. When the CD goes missing, chaos ensues. The film earned Rs 41.93 crore.

Khel Khel Mein features friends playing a game involving phone secrets during dinner. Initially fun, it turns serious as secrets are revealed. It collected Rs 47.49 crore at the box office.

Exploring New Themes

Set against India's booming aviation sector and startup culture, Sarfira, directed by Sudha Kongara and starring Seema Biswas and Akshay Kumar among others, earned Rs 30.02 crore but didn't soar high with audiences.

Crakk: Jeetega... Toh Jiyegaa follows a man's journey from Mumbai slums into underground extreme sports to uncover his brother's fate and prove himself in Maidaan's illegal competitions. It grossed only Rs 17.08 crore.

This year's Bollywood releases showcased diverse themes and stories but not all found favour with audiences or achieved box office success.
