The movie was released to less hype but emerged as a surprise winner at the box office. The good word-of-mouth helped the film to strike gold at the box office.

Nonetheless, it had earned Rs 6.1 crore (nett) on the opening day at the India box office. The Mohanlal-starrer has made a collection of ₹59.75 crore in the first week.
By the end of its second week, Thudarum has raked in Rs 41 crore in the second week while doing ₹24.05 crore in the third week. However, Mohanlal's Malayalam flick has made a collection of ₹11.45 crore in its fourth week. In the fifth week, it raked in Rs 4.45 crore.
Thudarum: State Wise Box Office Collection
Overall, the film had raked in Rs 118.9 crore at the Kerala box office. Karnataka has become the second biggest centre for the Malayalam film by raking in Rs 8.13 crore. It is followed by Tamil Nadu (Rs 5.86 crore) and Andhra and Telagana (₹3.6 crore). From the rest of the country, it raked in ₹4.21 crore.
As far as the language-wise collection is concerned, the film collected 117.82 crore from the Malayalam version. The Telugu version made Rs 1.98 crore while doing Rs 1.4 crore in the Tamil version.
The Malayalam movie has grossed ₹140.7 crore with a net collection of ₹121.2 crore. From the overseas box office, it has raked in Rs 93.8 crore.
The worldwide box office collection stands at ₹234.5 crore.
Produced on a budget of ₹28 crore, Thudarum marks a strong comeback for Mohanlal after a tough 2024, where both his releases underperformed. His directorial debut, Barroz 3D - Guardian of Treasures, made on a staggering ₹150 crore budget, recovered only 10% of its costs during its theatrical run. Even Empuraan did not win the hearts of the hardcore cine-goers though it made good collection in Kerala.
