Thalapathy Vijay's Son To Direct Thala Ajith? Jason Sanjay's Meeting With Suresh Chandra Triggers Rumours

The long-standing rivalry between Tamil cinema superstars Vijay and Ajith Kumar often stirs intense debates among their fanbases. However, a recent development involving their respective circles has set the rumor mills abuzz with the possibility of an unexpected collaboration.

Sanjay To Direct Thala?

Jason Sanjay, the son of actor Thalapathy Vijay, has reportedly met Suresh Chandra, manager and PRO of actor Ajith Kumar. This meeting has sparked significant excitement among fans, leading to widespread speculation about a possible collaboration between Thala and Sanjay in the future.

It has to be noted that Jason Sanjay is all set to make his directorial debut with a project produced by Lyca Productions. The film, presently referred to as Jason Sanjay 01, has Sundeep Kishan in the lead role, with Thaman S composing the music and Praveen KL handling the editing. Shooting for the film is scheduled to begin in January 2025.

A report claims that Suresh Chandra, a close associate of Ajith Kumar, has been brought on board to assist with Sanjay's debut project. This professional association has fueled theories among fans about a potential on-screen partnership between Ajith and Jason Sanjay. However, there has been no official confirmation regarding any such collaboration.

As of now, neither Lyca Productions nor Suresh Chandra has confirmed any involvement of Ajith Kumar in Jason Sanjay 01 or any other project helmed by Jason Sanjay.

Vidaamuyarchi Postponed

On the other hand, the release of Ajith's upcoming movie Vidaamuyarchi has been postponed. The movie, directed by Magizh Thirumeni, was supposed to hit the screens for Pongal. However, it now looks like the movie will see the light of the day possibly during Republic Day holiday weekend.

The movie has Trisha Krishnan in the female lead and Arjun Sarja in a key role.

Thalapathy Vijay Set To Bid Goodbye

Meanwhile, Thalapathy Vijay, who has founded his political party Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam, will be bidding goodbye to films as he sets his eyes on the Tamil Nadu Assembly polls.

The state will go for the polls next year.
