Thalapathy Vijay Is A Good Listener: Premalu's Mamitha Baiju Ahead of Jana Nayagan Teaser Release

Mamitha Baiju has opened up about working with Vijay in his upcoming movie Jana Nayagan, which will be a Pongal 2026 treat.

What Premalu Girl Said About Thalapathy?

In an interview, the actress, who shot to fame with Premalu, said, "Vijay sir is punctual and very cool. Whatever happens in Jana Nayagan set, he handles it very cool♥. Also he is a very good listener. I used to blabber many things to him. He used to say 'Hmm' 'Haa' etc...😂"

The actress, in another interview earlier, had spoken about her first encounter on the Jana Nayagan sets.

"When I saw Vijay sir for the first time, I was extremely nervous. I could only manage to say 'Hi Sir,' and my hands were trembling. I couldn't speak much beyond that," she claimed. However, Thalapathy understood that she was nervous as he smiled and said, "Hi Ma," and offered a handshake.

How Thalapathy Helped Her Overcome Nervousness

Vijay's gesture made her overcome the nervousness. "As a fan, I don't think I can express that feeling in words. It was beyond anything I could have imagined," she added.

However, Mamitha is not the female lead, rather Pooja Hegde is. She wrapped up the shooting recently.

Meanwhile, the fans are eagerly awaiting the announcement on Jana Nayagan teaser release. It is expected to be out on 22 June to coincide with Vijay's birthday.

Jana Nayagan is being produced under the banner of KV N Productions by Venkat K Narayana, with Jagadish Palanisamy and Lohith N K serving as co-producers. Anirudh Ravichander is the music director with Sathyan Sooryan handling cinematography. Pradeep E Ragav is the editor while action sequences are choreographed by stunt maestro Anl Arasu.

The Tamil movie will hit the screens for Pongal 2026.
