Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimaiyil (TTT) Movie Review: What's Good, What's Bad In Jiiva's Film?

As Vijay's Jana Nayagan release got delayed, Jiiva's Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimaiyil joined the Pongal race. The political satire, directed by Nithish Sahadev, has hit the screens on Thursday.

The movie has Prathana Nathan playing the female lead. It has Thambi Ramaiah, Anuraj, Ilavarasu, Jenson Dhivakar, Sarjin Kumar, Jaiwanth, Rajesh Pandian, Amith Mohan, Subash Kannan, Sharath and Savithri in the cast.

Vishnu Vijay has scored the music, Bablu Aju has handled the camera and Arjune Babu has edited the flick.

The Tamil flick has managed to draw the viewers attention with its promos. Will it live up to the viewers' expectations? Find out:

Rajasekar: #ThalaivarThambiThalaimaiyil - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️A solid fun entertainer with a thought provoking message in the end. After #limy, #NithishSahadev is back yet again with a laugh riot yet with an emotional underscore on how the ego tussle and rumour mongers could burn an entire village.

@JiivaOfficial's most entertaining film since SMS. Interestingly he has played a character and not a namesake hero!

Both #Ilavarasu and #ThambiRamaiah have played the egoistic neighbours to the perfection while #PrathanaNathan has also done a good job.

A water tank also plays an interesting role that sends out a very important message.

This could be a perfect Pongal weekend for family. National Awards should also be given for Film that talks about National Integration

Haricharan Pudipeddi: Don't remember the last time I saw a Tamil film where insane amount of comedy was written around chaos and so much of it. #ThalaivarThambiThalaimaiyil is exactly that kind of film and it does a pretty good job at it.
Absolute madcap of an entertainer. SMS-like enjoyable film for Jiiva after a long time. Slowly picks up but turns into a lighter riot from the interval point and from then transitions into a solid chaotic comedy. The rooted setting and realistic treatment is a major plus for the movie.

Jiiva is back in the way we like him, a jolly ride that starts off slowly in the first half but has a second half that is built well with both laughs and intensity. The film also drives home an important message on integrity.

After #Falimy, director Nithish Sahadev is back with another interesting content - the film would've been challenging to write and make as it entirely happens in a single location within 24 hours. Credit to the team for bringing this together and making it a good watch.

@JiivaOfficial carries the film on his shoulders - his smirks, comic ripostes and tensed expressions all work out on screen. The film also benefits from the presence of experienced artists like Ilavarasu and Thambi Ramaiah.

If you are looking out for a harmless and lighthearted family entertainer for the Pongal season, TTT will work out for you. Personally happy to see Jiiva back in a good phase, he should do more comedy films as he is great at it.
