The romantic comedy drama Thalaivan Thalaivi, starring Vijay Sethupathi and Nithya Menon, is set to make its digital debut this month. Directed by Pandiraaj and initially released in theatres on July 25, 2025, this film marks the first collaboration between the two lead actors on screen. For those who missed it in cinemas, it will soon be available for streaming.

When Will Thalaivan Thalaivi Be Released Online?

Prime Video announced on social media that Thalaivan Thalaivi will be available for streaming from August 22. The announcement was made via a poster shared on August 15. The film will be accessible in multiple languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. The post's caption read: "Get ready to fall in love with Aagasaveeran and Perarasi... twice #ThalaivanThalaiviiOnPrime."

Agasaveeran (Vijay Sethupathi), who runs a modest tiffin center with his family, finds happiness when he marries Arasi, also known as Perarasi (Nithya Menen). Their married life begins on a sweet note, but harmony soon gives way to constant friction as the couple starts bickering over petty and often absurd issues. What begins as harmless quarrels gradually snowballs into a three-month separation and eventually a divorce petition.

The Tamil movie is directed by Pandiraj who is known for movies such as Pasanga and Kadaikutty Singam. The movie has Nithya Menen playing the female lead. Yogi Babu, Roshini Haripriyan, Deepa Shankar, Myna Nandhini, Saravanan, RK Suresh, Kaali Venkat, Sendryan and others in the cast.
