Thala Ajith's Reference In Thalapathy Vijay's 'GOAT'
The trailer of Thalapathy Vijay's upcoming film 'The Greatest of All Time' (GOAT) has surpassed expectations, leaving fans eagerly anticipating its release on September 5.
The trailer features a nod to the director's previous film Ajith's 'Mankatha' which has caught the attention of audiences. This reference is especially intriguing given the long-standing rivalry between Vijay and Ajith in Tamil cinema.

Adding to the excitement, it has now been revealed that Ajith's forthcoming film 'Good Bad Ugly', will also include a reference to Vijay. In 'The GOAT' trailer, Vijay delivers the line, "Inimey kudikavey kudadhu" (One should not drink ever again), a dialogue originally spoken by Ajith in Mankatha. This playful crossover has sparked enthusiasm among both fan bases.
Venkat Prabhu, who is directing 'The GOAT', hinted at these cinematic references, stating, "The Greatest Of All Time has a significant moment related to Ajith Kumar. It could be a voiceover, shot, or reference, but I can't reveal more for now. Similarly, there's a reference to Thalapathy Vijay in the form of a dialogue in Good Bad Ugly."
With Ajith and Vijay being two of the biggest stars in Tamil cinema, these references are sure to electrify audiences, turning theatres into arenas of celebration. Fans can look forward to a thrilling experience with both 'The GOAT' and 'Good Bad Ugly'.
In an earlier interview, director Venkat Prabhu has shed light on the film's storyline. In an interview, Prabhu revealed that 'GOAT' is a fictional story, crafted to be as close to reality as possible.
Vijay's character leads a core team from the SPECIAL ANTI-TERRORIST SQUAD, a wing of RAW (Research and Analysis Wing). The plot revolves around a past mission that resurfaces as a significant problem in the future, forcing the team to confront and overcome the challenges that arise.
