'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya' 1st Day Box Office Collection: Shahid's Film Off To Decent Star

Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon's 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya' is off to a decent start at the India box office. The movie was released on Friday to mixed response.

The occupancy in theatres, as per Sacnik website, did not cross an average occupancy rate of 15 per cent.

The morning screenings started with an 8.8 per cent occupancy rate, showing a modest start, while the afternoon matinees saw a notable improvement, reaching 11.79 per cent. By the evening, the numbers surged further, hitting a peak of 13.73 per cent. Notably, the film garnered the highest number of screenings in the NCR region, boasting a total of 1123 showings, closely followed by Mumbai with 844 screenings.

As far as the occupancy rates are concerned, Bengaluru and Hyderabad got a better response than the metros.

The early estimation coming from trade indicates that the Hindi movie has earned around Rs 6.5 crore on day one.

The movie is about Aryan, a robotics engineer seeking a relationship built on compatibility. He encounters Sifra, an advanced robot tailored to fulfil his desires. Despite his awareness of her artificial nature, Aryan finds himself drawn to Sifra, ultimately falling for her charms.

Trade analysts are expecting the collection of 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya' to improve during the weekend.
