Tamannaah Bhatia And Kajal Aggarwal In Legal Trouble Over Alleged Crypto Fraud
Film actors often find themselves entangled in legal troubles due to the fraudulent activities of others. A few months ago, several Bollywood stars were questioned by the police in connection with the Mahadev betting app case. Now, actresses Tamannaah Bhatia and Kajal Aggarwal have landed in a similar controversy.

Both actresses have been named as co-accused in a ₹2.40 crore fraud case, with victims filing a complaint against them alongside the alleged fraudsters at a Puducherry police station. While the police have already arrested the two main accused, they are now questioning Tamannaah Bhatia and Kajal Aggarwal regarding their involvement.
The Allegations
The case revolves around Christo Currency Company, which was established in Coimbatore in 2020. Tamannaah Bhatia was the guest of honor at the company's grand inauguration, while Kajal Aggarwal attended the firm's annual event held at a luxury hotel in Mahabalipuram. However, investors have now accused the company of duping them out of ₹2.40 crore.
A retired government employee named Ashok filed a complaint with the Puducherry police, alleging that the cryptocurrency company took a significant sum from him and about ten others, promising to double their money but ultimately committing fraud. According to his complaint, he alone lost ₹2.40 crore.
Celebrities and Fraud Cases
This is not the first time film celebrities have been linked to fraudulent schemes. Often, celebrities endorse businesses for financial gain, only to find themselves legally implicated when these companies defraud the public. With investigations underway, it remains to be seen what role, if any, Tamannaah Bhatia and Kajal Aggarwal played in the case.
