'Stree 2' OTT Release: Where To Watch - Netflix Or Amazon Prime? Find Platform Details

Amar Kaushik's Hindi film 'Stree 2' has taken the box office by storm, emerging as one of the biggest hits of 2024.

The movie was released on August 15 and earned Rs 55.40 crore on day 1. With a good word-of-mouth, it has raked in Rs 204 crore. By the end of first week, it has collected Rs 307.80 crore.

The horror-comedy sequel has turned into an unexpected success, grossing over Rs 608 crore at the domestic box office. Globally, the film's total gross has reached an impressive Rs 852.56 crore, including rs 134.3 crore from overseas markets.

The film, a follow-up to the 2018 hit Stree, continues to blend horror with comedy, captivating audiences with its unique tone. Stellar performances by Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana have added to its appeal. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the film retains the same eerie charm that made the original a hit.

The movie has hit the OTT platform with a bang on September 26. Well, it is out on Amazon Prime. However, there is a glitch. It is out on rental basis and viewers can stream it for free starting October 11.

With a gross collection of Rs 852.56 crore worldwide and its continued success on OTT, 'Stree 2' has solidified its place as one of Bollywood's top films of the year.
