Step Motherly Treatment To 'Leo'? 'Tiger 3' Violates GO Order, Vijay Fans Accuse

Did the Tamil Nadu government give stepmotherly treatment to Vijay's 'Leo' and Tamil films? Vijay fans have raised an issue about Salman Khan's Hindi movie 'Leo' having a 7 am show in Tamil Nadu.

The DMK government had refused to grant permission to special 4 am shows for 'Leo' and passed a government order stating that exhibitors could only have their first show at 9 am. Also, the order said that single screens could have a total of 5 shows in a day.

However, the fans of Vijay are sharing screenshots from BookMyShow where a single screen allows the audience to book tickets for 7 am show. They have claimed that Sri Sakthi Cinema is having 7am show and having six shows in a day, which is a clear violation of the recent GO.

"Tirupur Subramaniam is breaking multiple rules. His theatre Sri Sakthi Cinemas is not only playing #Tiger3 shows before 9 AM but also playing 6 shows per day. Has he got any special GO for his theatre alone? #Leo," a user said on X.

In a follow-up tweet, he said, "Who gave permission to Tiruppur Subramaniam's Sri Sakthi Cinema to play #Tiger3 from 7:10 AM? Tamil film #Leo wasn't given permission to play before 9 AM. Another user said, "How come these many shows scheduled by Sri Sakthi Cinemas? When there is a clear GO that theaters should begin show only from 9AM!"

However, Oneindia could not verify the claims of the fans.

The Tamil Nadu government's order refusing to grant permission for 4am shows had irked the fans of Vijay.

Meanwhile, Vijay's 'Leo' has become a big hit at the box office.
