Star Singer Season 9 Winner: Aravind Emerges Victorious In The Finale

In a night filled with music, excitement, and spectacular performances, Aravind emerged as the winner of Star Singer Season 9 and Disha is the runner-up. Nanda ended up at the third place.

The grand finale took place at the Adlux Convention Center in Ernakulam, where an enthusiastic crowd gathered to witness the crowning of this season's champion.

The competition was fierce, with six incredibly talented finalists- Disha, Nanda, Aravind, Balram, Anusree, and audience-chosen Sriraag- vying for the coveted title. Sriraag, who earned his place in the final round through public voting, gave a tough fight, but it was Aravind's dynamic stage presence and consistent performances throughout the season that secured him the top spot.

The highlight of the evening was the mesmerizing performances by music legends Hariharan and Stephen Devassy. Their soulful renditions captivated the audience, adding to the grandeur of the event. Hariharan, who also served as the Chief Judge for the finale, lauded the immense talent on display and expressed his admiration for the finalists.

The prestigious judging panel included some of the most respected names in the industry-KS Chitra, Sujatha, Sithara Krishnakumar, and Vidhu Pratap. Together, they had the challenging task of selecting the winner from a pool of immensely gifted contestants.

The season, which began on July 22 saw 16 contestants battling it out for the title. After weeks of intense competition, only six finalists made it to the last stage, where they gave it their all to impress the judges and the audience.

Aravind's victory was not just a win for him but for his countless supporters who had cheered him on throughout the season. As the winner, Aravind took home a cash prize of Rs 50 lakh, sponsored by Confident Group. The other five finalists were awarded Rs 2 lakh each for their incredible journey on the show.

Adding star power to the finale, Bollywood superstar Vidya Balan made a special appearance, gracing the event with her charm. Her presence, along with the esteemed judges and celebrity guests, made the finale a truly memorable night.
