Singham Again Vs Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 At Box Office: 1st Day Predictions

This Diwali season, the Indian box office is set for a spectacular showdown with two major releases vying for audiences' attention. Ajay Devgn's action-packed "Singham Again" is pitted against Kartik Aaryan's horror-comedy "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3," each promising to deliver blockbuster entertainment. Initial projections suggest a fierce competition, yet "Singham Again" seems to lead with a considerable margin in terms of both anticipation and advance bookings.

"Singham Again," the latest offering from Rohit Shetty's cop universe, is predicted to start strong at the box office. Trade experts estimate it could collect around Rs 57 crore net on its opening day. Its competitor, "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3," isn't far behind, expected to gather about Rs 41 crore net in India on its first day. These forecasts hint at a bumper Diwali for Bollywood, with both films geared up to make a significant mark.

Adding to the excitement, "Singham Again" boasts an impressive gross collection estimate of around Rs 70 crore, while "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3" is anticipated to bring in about Rs 50 crore gross. These numbers underline the massive appeal and expected financial success of both movies. The industry and audiences alike are eagerly waiting to see which film will ultimately lead this festive season's box office race.

The anticipation for these releases is mirrored in their advance bookings as well. "Singham Again" has already sold 2,40,683 tickets, amassing roughly Rs 7.58 crore for 12,061 shows across India. Including block seats, the film's pre-sales have reached about Rs 10.2 crore. Key contributors to this impressive figure include major cities like the National Capital Region (NCR), Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, and Pune.

On the other hand, "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3" has exhibited a strong performance in advance bookings as well, with sales amounting to Rs 8.89 crore for Day 1. The total, with block seats included, stands at around Rs 11 crore. The film has seen a significant portion of its bookings coming from NCR, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, and Bengaluru, indicating a robust pan-India interest.

Both films are set to grace over 6,000 screens across the country, with a strategic allocation that sees "Singham Again" securing 60% of screens and "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3" the remaining 40%. This distribution highlights the massive scale at which both movies are being released, ensuring audiences nationwide have ample opportunity to catch their preferred blockbuster.

The first shows for both movies are scheduled to start at 7 am on Friday, showcasing the confidence and positivity among exhibitors and distributors. Film critic and trade analyst Joginder Tuteja highlighted this sentiment on X, noting the significance of such an early start for first-day first shows.

"Singham Again" continues the saga of Bajirao Singham, played by Ajay Devgn, as he confronts an enigmatic villain named Danger Lanka to protect his wife, Avni. The film features a star-studded cast including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor. Meanwhile, "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3" sees Kartik Aaryan returning as Rooh Baba, embroiled in a spooky adventure within a haunted castle. The cast also includes Vidya Balan, reprising her role as Manjulika, along with Madhuri Dixit, Triptii Dimri, Vijay Raaz, Rajpal Yadav, and Sanjay Mishra.
