Shri Krishna Fame Nitish Bharadwaj's Estranged Wife, IAS Smita Responds To Mental Harassment Accusations
Television actor Nitish Bharadwaj's estranged wife and IAS officer Smita Bharadwaj has responded to mental harassment allegations leveled by her husband. Nitish Bharadwaj, famous for playing the lead role of Shri Krishna in BR Chopra's Mahabharat, had accused his wife of 'abducting' their two daughters and mentally harassing him as she is not allowing him to see or talk to both the daughters.
Nitish had also accused his wife of misusing her powers as IAS officer, to which, Smita has responded with a legal statement.

Launching a counterattack, Smita Bharadwaj asked why Nitish didn't try to contact their daughters through any friends, or family members. She said whatever she is doing is with the intent to safeguard her daughters. She also called Nitish Bhardwaj's allegations false and fabricated.
"I Mrs Smita BHaradwaj, wife of Shri Nitish Bharadwaj, am now constrained and feel it necessary to release this statement to the press, and the public at large, in order to protect the interests of my minor twin daughters Devyani and Shivaranjani. The necessity for this public statement has arisen since my estranged husband Shri Nitish Bharadwaj has been continuously making certain false and fabricated statements and allegations/ representations to the press, as well as through various other media channels, 'as regards my alleged abduction of my own daughters'. False and malicious allegations to malign my image (sic)," the legal statement reads.
She added that Nitish Bharadwaj only intends to harm her public image. The legal statement also highlighted that the actor was used to talk to their daughters over the phone via landline, but this time he avoided it. It was his narrative to complain, so he decided to avoid the official landline.
