Shooting At Disha Patani's House Case: Two Accused Linked To Goldy Brar Gang Killed By Ghaziabad Police

In Ghaziabad, two gang affiliates linked to Goldy Brar were killed in a police encounter after a shooting at Disha Patani's home. The attack was reportedly in retaliation for comments against spiritual leaders.

Two individuals linked to the Goldy Brar and Rohit Godara gang were killed in an encounter with police in Ghaziabad. They were involved in a shooting incident at Bollywood actor Disha Patani's Bareilly residence. The UP STF confirmed their gang affiliations. The attackers fired 10 to 15 rounds rapidly, according to Disha Patani's father.

The accused, Ravindra and Arun, were intercepted by a joint team from the STF's Noida unit and Delhi Police in Tronica City, Ghaziabad. During the confrontation, both sustained severe injuries and later died at the hospital. The police recovered a glock, a zigana pistol, and numerous cartridges from the scene.

Details of the Shooting Incident

On September 12, around 3:30 am, two men on a motorbike opened fire outside Disha Patani's Bareilly home. A social media post linked to Goldy Brar's associates claimed responsibility for this attack. However, the post was deleted by September 13 evening.

The social media message suggested that the attack was retaliation for derogatory remarks against spiritual leaders Premanand Maharaj and Aniruddhacharya Maharaj. It ominously stated that this was merely "a trailer" with more violence anticipated.

Response from Authorities

Following the incident, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath contacted Disha Patani's father, Jagdish Singh Patani. He assured him of police measures to ensure their safety. Jagdish Singh Patani is a retired deputy superintendent of police.

Jagdish Patani recounted waking up to dogs barking at around 3 am. He witnessed the attackers firing at their house using a foreign-made pistol. The rapid succession of shots terrified them, prompting immediate notification to the police.
